Khoresht-e-Fesenjan (Iranian Chicken dish)


This is a fascinating dish for me... Chicken/meat cooked with ground walnut and pomegranate molasses or fresh juice... I have never eaten anything like this but just the combination of ingredients is intriguing and fascinating.. I spoke with some of the Iranian students in Hale Manoa and they said they would like to help cook this as long as I have the ingredients... Yesterday, I got the essential items, the pomegranate molasses and walnuts from India market and Kokua. Cost 7$ for former and about a dollar for the later.
